Hebburn Town are delighted to welcome the signing of striker Bailey Adamson, subject to NPL and FA approval.
The 18 year old has been a key part of Lincoln City's youth set up in recent years, having seen his goals lead them to the Under 17 Floodlit Cup in 2023, before progressing to the Under 18 setup last term.
During 23/24, the 6ft 2in forward gained senior experience with two of our league opponents in the Pitching In NPL East Division.
Firstly, Adamson joined Grimsby Borough in September where he grabbed one goal in eight appearances before joining Winterton Rangers in January. After two goals in seven outings for Winterton, he left the club in March to pursue other opportunities.
Adamson arrives at Hebburn Sports Ground on a permanent deal, having played as a trialist during our pre-season games.
On joining the club Adamson said, “Yeah I’m buzzing, I can’t wait to start scoring goals and helping the team push for promotion.”
Hornets Manager Daniel Moore said of Adamson's arrival, "Bailey has been with us the last few weeks and done really well. He’s another young man that has the attributes and energy to bring something to the squad."
Moore continued: “He scored nearly 40 goals last year for Lincoln's academy and you can see in his work he knows the game and has a good understanding of playing up front and definitely knows we’re the net is."
"The way we play will also suit him and with us wanting to attack teams and I can see him developing into an important player for us during the season. Last year we were lucky with Amar but now having that other striker gives us more options and can only benefit the squad for the new challenge ahead."
We would like to wish Bailey all the best for the upcoming season.
