Hebburn Town Football Club are delighted to share that we will once again be offering our regular community school holiday soccer camp provision over the six week school summer holiday.
The club will focus the offering over the following three weeks:-
Mon 22nd - Thurs 25th July
Mon 5th - Thurs 8th August
Tues 27th - Fri 30th August
The club have been successful in gaining funding from South Tyneside Local Authority Holiday Activities Fund (HAF) for all three camps, this allows the club to offer 45 free spaces per day for children who’s families fall in the “Free School Meal Category”.
All attending children will receive a free lunch meal and snack whilst attending no matter if a paid place or free via HAF, thus supporting local families by making sure attending children receive a meal each day and other attendees in the current cost of living crisis we find ourselves in.
Club Chief Executive Stephen Rutherford shared “ The club is an integral part of our local community and I’m thrilled that we can offer camps for local children. We always try to keep the costs to a minimum level and explore funding to provide a service for a wide range of families/children that may not usually use the service. Our camps are always successful and gain a large attendance so we look forward to welcoming new and existing attendees this summer. I’d like to thank our coaching staff, the kitchen staff for their dedicated time and I’d also like to thank STMBC HAF team for the support they have offered”
