FA Wildcats Centre Reopens

FA Wildcats Centre Reopens

Steve Lundell23 Jul 2020 - 09:35

Hebburn Town Juniors are pleased to confirm the return of our ever-popular FA Wildcats sessions.

As the club begins to resume footballing activities, we are delighted to announce the return of our FA Wildcats Centre from Thursday 30th July, at the usual time of 6pm

For just £2 per week, girls between the ages of 5 and 11 are able to come along and experience football in a safe, fun and friendly environment. There is a real focus on player development and progression, and a number of the girls have gone on from Wildcats to represent Hebburn Town Juniors in one of our girls teams.

Sessions are open to girls of all abilities, from absolute beginners to experienced players. The session emphasis is on the players learning and having fun, whilst striving to succeed.

The FA have requested that all parents must register their daughters to each session, via the FA Online Portal http://faevents.thefa.com/book?sessionId=141649

On the reopening of the centre Wildcats AGC Steve Moore said, "We are looking forward to seeing the girls again. We have missed them, and we know they have missed their football. We return with loads of new ideas, sessions and new faces as we aim to build on our previous successes."

Covid-19 Precautions
As a club, the safety of all of our players, coaches and parents remains paramount. We are adhering to Government guidelines and request all parents to also abide by the social distancing advice of 2mtrs at all times where possible / minimum of 1mtr.
We are all now accepting this guidance, as a part of life and will have preparation for your daughters inside their training facility only.

The Club will be making further announcements in due course regarding the total return to football. We thank you all for your patience and support during this challenging time.
