Hebburn Town are also delighted to share that through our partnership with South Tyneside Council's Holiday Activities and Food Scheme (HAF), we will be offering free camps with a hot lunch to those children that qualify through the scheme on the following weeks:

Week Two: Mon 31 July – Thu 3 Aug
Week Four: Mon 14 Aug – Thu 17 Aug
Week Six: Tue 29 Aug – Fri 1 Sep

The HAF camps have a capped attendance of 50 places per day and parents must register their children via the dedicated Eventbrite link here.

To qualify for the free HAF camps, children must live in South Tyneside, be aged between 5-16 years old, and be eligible for benefit related free school meals.

Hebburn Town Chief Executive, Stephen Rutherford, stated: "Our football club is a huge part of the local community and surrounding area within South Tyneside.

"We understand the importance of supporting children and their families during the summer holidays, allowing them to have fun, exercise and socialise with friends whilst also making new friends.

"We always try to keep costs down to a minimum for our chargeable camps to ensure affordability across the local community.

"I'm very pleased, with the support of South Tyneside Council's HAF scheme, to have also secured funding for 50 free spaces per day for three of the six weeks.

"More importantly, we're ensuring throughout those three weeks that hot meals will be provided to each child.

"The HAF support is enabling our club to coach and offer meals to over 600 children throughout the summer holiday period.

"Our events are safe, secure but most of all fun and we love to see all the children enjoying themselves.

"We look forward to a full rota across the summer and supporting our community - we can't wait to see everyone."

As spaces are at a premium, the club urge parents to book fast to avoid disappointment.

All of our events are fully insured and are supported by FA qualified, DBS checked, first aid and safeguarding certified coaches.
