Everyone involved within the club, would like to congratulate U18s/Reserves/First Team player, Gildo Da Silva on being called up to represent the England U18s School Boys team.
It’s a huge achievement for a player of his calibre, and speaks volumes about his talent and hard work. I’m sure this experience will only enhance his development as a player.
It’s a proud moment for us as a club to have one of our own representing his country at a national level, and we can’t wait to see how he performs on that stage.
On Gildo being called up, Chief Executive, Stephen Rutherford said: “I’d like to say a huge congratulations to Gildo and his family.

“Gildo has the full support from everyone at the club as he continues his development journey with this new opportunity for him. We look forward to seeeing his progression in the coming months.”
First Team Manager Daniel Moore said: “It’s great news for Gildo and I’m delighted for him. He joined in with us in pre-season, and I’d like to think him being in around the first team over the course of this season has helped in his development.
“We have got him exposed to as much game time as possible, and he has played a part in some important games for us this season. I will look forward to see how he does representing his country at schoolboy level.”
We would like to wish Gildo all the best in his time with the England U18s School Boys team and we look forward to him continuing his development with us as a club going forward.
