Our 16-19 Academy football/education programme commences its debut year from September 2024 with an exclusive education partnership with accesssport.ac.uk

A fully integrated football programme led by professionals, we offer a dedicated pathway alongside the common university pathways of with Extended Diplomas in areas such as sport coaching and sports science. In our first year of operation the academy will operate from the state of the art facilities available to Access Sport College at Cochrane park with a plan to move the academy to Hebburn Sports Ground facility full time from September 2025.

The players receive daily sports science support with live GPS data analysis using the Catapult Playertek +, individualised strength and conditioning programmes and daily sports therapy support, including nutrition, hydration and sleep guidance.  
Games are filmed via VEO technology cameras with coaches taking players through match analysis sessions on a weekly basis to improve both technically and tactically as individuals and as a group.

The academy will take part in the National Football Youth League, National League Under-19 Alliance, ECFA Category One and national cup competitions with home games
Played at the clubs fantastic facility of Hebburn Sports Ground.

The academy students will have opportunities to join the clubs overall pathway of development to link up with either/or Hebburn Town FC U18’s, Hebburn Town FC Reserves and Hebburn Town FC men’s first team for senior experience.
