The Sunderland academy graduate has played for Notts County, Forest Green Rovers and Hartlepool United amongst others. Very much a box-to-box midfielder, he chips in with his fair share of goals.

On the signing, Assistant Manager Mark Hudson said: “Very good player.”

“To be fair, we weren’t really looking at signing anyone, but when we heard he was available, it was a no brainer really.”
