On Non-League Day, Hebburn Town welcome Guiseley AFC to the Sportsy. Hebburn are encouraging life-long fans or newcomers to come along to The Sportsy, for a reduced ticket price of £5 for adults.

Hebburn Town are currently 11th place in the league, whereas Guiseley sit in a very comfortable 3rd place.

A win for Hebburn would ensure their right to remain in the league next season. Hebburn should be looking to improve on their form, as they have won two games this calendar year.

For Guiseley, it would ensure their place in the play-offs, and would extend their unbeaten run, home and away.

The Lions have not had a game unbeaten for 5 fixtures, and are coming Hebburn off the back of a 3-0 victory over Mickleover.

The two sides met for the first time this season in November at Nethermoor Park. Unfortunately for the Hornets, Guiseley secured a 2-0 victory. Both sides are thirsty for three points during their second meeting.

Previewing the fixture, Mark Hudson admitted that Saturday will be a challenging afternoon for the lads. When interviewed, he said “It’ll be a tough game. Last time, they turned us over 2-0. They’re a team that’s been in the play-offs all season, so it’ll be a tough game.”
