The Hornets travel to the Hurst Cross Stadium for Saturday's fixture against Ashton United in what will undoubtedly turn out to be a game to watch.
Hebburn will come into this game looking to gain a precious three points, after coming out of their most recent game with a narrow 1-0 loss to Guiseley after former South Shields player John Lufudu struck to give the lions three points, cementing their place in the playoffs. The Hornets battled hard throughout the game, but despite their best efforts and a last-minute all-out attack, an equaliser was held short.
The hosts, who sit in 5th place with 60 points, have been in shaky form, having lost their last two games against Leek Town and Stockton. The Robins are clear by only 5 points into the playoff threshold and will look to battle hard for what could prove to be a crucial 3 points to widen the gap between them and in-form Ilkeston Town to cement their place in the playoffs to have any realistic chance at promotion
Player to Watch:
Having been in remarkable form, Hebburn Town defender Matty Elsdon (crowned man of the match against Guiseley) will look to consolidate his incredible form, aiding the squad's defensive power to repel attacks from The Robins and play his role in securing three crucial points for the Hornets.
