Garforth Town vs Hebburn Town
Saturday 20th July, 1pm kick off
Bannister Prentice Stadium
The Lowdown
Hebburn face their fourth test of pre-season, and the only scheduled away fixture in that time as they head to Garforth Town on Saturday.
The Hornets have had three defeats in their friendlies to date, although they have been facing opposition from higher up the pyramid and have scored in each of their games.
Last time out they lost 3-1 at home to Darlington, with Amar Purewal netting against his former club. Darlo scored early in both halfs and also missed a penalty during the game.
Garforth meanwhile ran out 7-0 winners at Beverley Town. A brace from trialist Max Bauer and goals from Matt Antcliff, Mo Fadera, Sam Cable, Alex Zachariou and Jay Davis saw the Miners to a comfortable win.
Pre-Match Thoughts
Hebburn Manager Daniel Moore offered his thoughts ahead of the game, commenting "They've just been promoted and just like our lads want to test themselves against higher opposition, their lads will be the same."
Moore continued, "we'll be looking to come through the game healthy and keep things ticking over. I think everyone can see that we're heading in the right direction."
Venue
The match will take place at the Bannister Prentice Stadium, LS25 2PF and will kick off at 1pm.
Payment on the gate with entry costing £5 adults, £3 concessions and £2 for under 16s.
