Pitching In NPL Premier Division
On Tuesday night, the Hornets welcome Morpeth Town to the Hebburn Sports Ground in a local derby.
The last time the two sides met was back in September 2024, where the two sides played out a goalless draw at Craik park.
Hebburn delivered a solid performance in their last outing, walking away with an important point against Warrington Rylands.
Backed by home support, the Hornets will be looking to claim all three points on Tuesday night, while looking to keep up with the play-off positions.
Meanwhile, Morpeth Town come into this fixture after a 4-1 loss against FC United of Manchester, where defensive lapses proved costly. The Highwaymen will be looking to frustrate their hosts and snatch a result from the Hornets.
Ahead of the game, Bobby said, “Morpeth are an established team at this level, and will provide a stern test for us.
“We need to look after the players with us playing games every three to four days, but we will put out a team that we think is capable of getting the job done”.
The match will be played at the Hebburn Sports Ground, NE31 1UN. Ticket prices are: Adults: £10, Concession (Over 65) / Students (17/18) - £8, U12-U16 - £2 & U12 - Free.
