The Hornets, fresh from a goalless draw away to Matlock Town last week, now shift their focus to securing three points against Worksop Town.

Currently sitting eighth in the table with 42 points, Hebburn Town will be eager to turn recent draws into a much-needed victory.

With home advantage on their side, motivation will be high, and a positive result looks well within reach.

Worksop Town, currently fourth in the league with 53 points, will come into this match looking to extend their winning streak. Back to back 2-0 victories over Morpeth Town and Ashton United have reinforced their strong form, and they’ll be eager to maintain that momentum.

The last meeting between the two sides took place on October 19, 2024, when Hebburn Town travelled to The Windsor Foodservice Stadium for what was expected to be a tough encounter.

At the time, Hebburn sat in third place, just behind Worksop in second. Despite the challenge, the Hornets came out on top with an impressive 4-2 victory.

The Tigers will see a familiar face in Hebburn's dugout, as Assistant Manager Mark Hudson takes on his former club.

Looking ahead to the fixture, Manager Daniel Moore said: “They’re [Worksop] are up there for a reason, and have been for the last couple of years, it’s a massive game for us.

“Everything is at stake because, we can’t afford at this stage, to draw or lose any games if we want to make the play-offs.

“We will head into this game with the same attitude we had last year where we won the league.”
