Hebburn Town FC vs Whitby Town FC
Saturday January 11th, 2025, 3pm kick off
Pitching In NPL Premier Division
Towbar Express Stadium
The upcoming clash between Hebburn Town and Whitby Town FC promises to be an intriguing battle as both sides aim to build upon their recent form.
The two sides played each other earlier in the season at the Hebburn Sports Ground, where Whitby prevailed 2-6 winners after a first half red card for Paul Van-Zandvliet.
However, the Hornets will look to build upon their latest performance after a hard-fought draw in their last outing to Warrington Rylands, where they showed immense resilience. With goals from Olly Martin and Joao Gomes, Hebburn were able to capitalise on their attacking threats and gain a valuable point on the road.
Meanwhile, Whitby Town come into the encounter riding a wave of confidence following a commanding 2-0 victory over Bamber Bridge. With a solid defensive performance and clinical finishing in their previous match, they will be eager to replicate that winning formula.
Ahead of the game, Bobby said, “Whitby are a very good side. We know it’s going to be a tough place to go, but we will go there and play our own game.
“We know what we are capable of on our day, so we will go there full of confidence and hopefully come away with a positive result.”
The match will be played at the Towbar Express Stadium, YO21 3HZ.
There will be a pitch inspection tomorrow morning at 9am to determine whether the game can go ahead, so keep an eye on the socials.
Ticket prices for the game are: Adults: £12, Concession: £8, under 18: £4.
