The Hornets kept pushing for a goal. After Elsdon forced a corner, Noble put the ball in the box. Turner looked to have won the header, but the referee blew for a foul on an Ilkeston player.
Another chance presented itself 5 minutes later in the 70th minute, as Noble dinked a ball into the Ilkeston box toward Purewal. He couldn’t get on the end of it and the ball was straight at Yates.

Patient play by the Hornets as a cross found Elsdon on the edge of the box and he unleashed a shot, but it gone over the crossbar.
Noble won a free-kick in the 85th minute inside the Ilkeston half. Noble crossed the ball into the box linking Turner to head it towards goal. Yates caught it initially before spilling the ball on the line, but the referee said plays on.
