Heading to West Yorkshire now, we take a look at Ossett United, Pontefract Collieries and Yorkshire Amateur FC

Ossett United

Founded: 2018
Home Ground: Ingfield Stadium, Prospect Road, Ossett, WF5 9HA.
Nickname:The Sheepicorns
Founded after the merger of Ossett Albion and Ossett Town in 2018, the club takes elements of both founding members crests with the unusual and unique Sheepicorns nickname. The first person to manage the club (and also the first to be fired) was former SAFC winger Andy Welsh. In the clubs short history, they have won the West Riding County Cup, 2018-19 and achieved their highest league placing, finishing 5th in the Northern Premier League Division One East in the same season.

Pontefract Collieries

Founded: 1958
Home Ground:The RES Ltd Stadium, Beechnut Lane, Pontefract, WF8 4QE
Nickname:The Colls
A team we know well from recent FA cup ties, The Colls were originally founded by a group of coal miners as a way to relax and enjoy playing football with their colleagues. The 1,200 capacity RES Ltd Stadium's seats were obtained from Manchester City's Maine Road stadium when this was demolished. A point of interest for those with a sweet tooth is the Haribo factory shop in Pontefract Town Centre, it a very fitting store for the home of the Pontefract Cake.

Yorkshire Amateur

Founded: 1918
Home Ground:Bracken Edge, Roxholme Road, Leeds, LS7 4JG.
Nickname:Ammers
Prior to moving to Bracken Edge in 1922 Ammers started out life playing at Elland Road before selling the lease to current tenants - Premier League Leeds United - for £250 in 1920. The side are also newly promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One East after gaining promotion from the Northern Counties East League in 2020/21 season.
