Pay as You Play Sessions: Price Increase

Pay as You Play Sessions: Price Increase

Jimmy Molloy31 Jan - 13:24

Pay as You Play Sessions to increase to £3 a session from 01/02/25.

The Junior section of our club is entirely volunteer led and over the last few years we have seen inflation hit our cost base significantly which has seen increases across all aspects of our cost base of between 20% and 40%. Therefore from February 1st the following sessions will see a price increase to £3 a session.

  • Mash Up
  • Wildcats
  • Just Play

We always try to keep the standards that we deliver as high as possible, whilst keeping our session fee's as low as we can.

As a club we are very proud of these community sessions as an entry route into football for thousands of people over the years and we have always gone out of our way to protect community sessions from an increase in costs and have protected these when increasing subs but unfortunately we are going to have to make a small adjustment to the fees for the sessions.

This is the first time we have increased the fee's for any of our session's, Mash up has run at the price of £2 for over 15 years now. We believe the club still offers fantastic value for money in its efforts to provide a footballing outlet to our rapidly growing community.

To help you understand what your contributions pay for and where monies go the below list is an outline of some, but not all, of our costs:

  • Facility Rent (MUGA)
  • Kit & Equipment (Footballs/Cones/Bibs etc)
  • Coach development
  • Event Costs (Presentation/Xmas presents/Selection boxes etc)
  • Online Booking Facilities

Fees will be reflected in all sessions assigned via our Bookteq and FA booking systems.

Regards

The Executive Committee
