Thanks to the generous funding from the South Tyneside Local Authority Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Fund, we are able to offer 50 free spaces per day for children eligible for free school meals.

Every child attending, whether on a paid place or through the HAF scheme, will receive a free lunch and snack. This initiative aims to support local families, ensuring all children have access to nutritious meals during the camp, especially during these challenging times.

Club Chief Executive Stephen Rutherford shared “The club continues to grow year in year and is becoming an even bigger integral part of our local community. I’m delighted once again that we can offer camps for local children during the festive period, to help them socialise, get fit and have fun.

We always try to keep the costs to a minimum and explore funding to provide a service for a wide range of families/children that may not usually use the service.

Our camps are successful in terms of numbers and regularly have large attendance so we look forward to welcoming new and existing attendees to the Xmas camps.

Free School Meal (FSM) criteria for HAF spaces: Register via the new “Plinth” platform https://www.hebburntownfc.com/payments/hebburn-town-xmas-soccer-camp-123923.html. Plinth is the new booking tool from South Tyneside Local Authority, replacing Eventbrite.

Parents under the HAF scheme must register on the Plinth platform and access our camps via the events schedule.
