We are delighted to announce that Kate Jackson has been named Captain, while Freya Peel has been named Vice Captain for the upcoming 24/25 season.

We caught up with both players to discuss their thoughts on being chosen for their specific role.

On being announced as Captain, Jackson said: “I was happy to be selected as captain of the Women’s team. We undoubtedly have a challenging season ahead, but i’m proud to lead the lasses out each week and take on the responsibility of the role.”

After being named as Vice Captain, Peel said: “I am proud to become vice captain of Hebburn Town Women. This is my second season with the club and I feel ready to take the next step and take on more responsibilities within the team. I am looking forward to supporting the team in the new season alongside our captain Kate Jackson.”
